Helston woman enters Royal Navy

A Helston woman has completed her training in the Royal Navy, realising a dream she had since an early age.

After eight weeks basic training, Natasha Hosking did 22 weeks of training at Farcham in Hampshire to become a sea specialist.

Natasha, a keen gymnast and swimmer, will soon be joining her first ship, the aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal.

She is not the only member of her family in the armed forces; she is joining her brother who is serving with the 42 Commando Royal Marines.

Their parents, Paul and Denise Hosking from Helston said that they were very proud of both their children’s achievements and wish them every success in the future.
