Children at Parc Eglos School in Helston hit the track this morning for their annual school sports day.
Despite having the original sports day postponed from Monday, parents still turned out in numbers to watch their children compete in events like the hurdles, sprints, javelin, long jump and even a mini-marathon – three times around the school pitch.
Headteacher Brett Dye said that all the children enjoyed the sports day in the bright sunshine.
“There was plenty of sportsmanship and teamwork on show. A special thank you to all parents for their support of Parc Eglos.
