Fisherman rescued from Porthleven
A fisherman was winched by helicopter after a boat capsized in Porthleven this afternoon.
A crew from RNAS Culdrose was scrambled to the port at 1.40pm. One fisherman had made it to shore but the other was struggling in the surf.
He had been in the water for some time and had just gone under when Petty Officer Shaun "Boogie" Knights was winched from the Sea King helicopter.
The man was then taken to Truro's Royal Cornwall Hospital.
