A man who died in a suspected 'murder' has been named.

Jesse Tracey, aged 56 from Penzance, died on Tuesday after being pulled from the water at Newlyn Harbour.

Police were called by coastguards at around 10am on Tuesday following an alleged incident involving a small rowing boat.

Mr Tracey was taken to Truro's Royal Cornwall Hospital, where he subsequently died.

A man, of no fixed address, has been charged with murder and is due to appear before Truro’s magistrates’ court this morning.
