On Saturday evening there was a pasty supper, a film show 'Evan Almighty' and a sleep over for the young people.

On Sunday morning with a spring like start to the day, the chapel looked light and bright. Our preacher, Mrs C King, a trainee local preacher was on her second visit.

Music corner comprised Paul Jenkin, organist; Treve Benney, drums and Mary Louise Combellack, flute. Two hymns were from Songs of Fellowship and three from Hymns and Psalms. The preacher at the beginning certainly had the attention of four girls, who became the visual aid to the story being read. Later the preacher read the whole of Daniel chapter three and a few verses from Matthew chapter 28.

Sermon time truly was delivered in quite a captivating way, a modern congregation, needs to be fed with the word of God, as it was this morning! Following the service, it was downstairs for refreshments served by Linda and Valerie.

When it was time to leave there was a short sharp hail shower, a contrast if ever. There was no evening service.
