PRIMARY SCHOOL: The Mother’s Day hamper and sweets were won by Jake. There were 184 sweets in the jar. Thanks are extended to all who entered and donated items for the hamper.

The school can raise money by donating old reusable clothes. If you have any, please bring them into school.

Don’t forget the mobile skate park at school on Tuesday from 10am to 4pm, weather permitting. All skaters, scooters and bikes are invited for boy and girls aged four to 14, skilled or first timers. LITTLE DOLPHINS PRE-SCHOOL: If you have any old buttons, craft items, fabrics, bottle tops, old birthday cards, flower pots, Easter egg plastic containers, etc, the pre-school would like them. Also any donations of grow bags would be gratefully received.

METHODIST CHURCH: For the fifth week of Lent the requirement for the Lenten Cross, namely the Purple Robe and Crown of Thorns, was carried out by Dick Brunwin with the appropriate reading. The service was conducted by Brian Teague from Helston and his subject was resurrection and new life. An addition to the congregation was his wife, Pauline, who was warmly welcomed. Mavis Harper was organist.
