Thanks to Amanda and Shelia for the Fairtrade tea and coffee and biscuits before church on Sunday. Thanks are also sent to Wendy and Amanda for the gift of the book that people from the congregation have been reading during Lent. The book is Simply Christian by Tom Wright. There will be a get together to exchange thoughts and opinions in a friendly, very informal way on Saturday from 2pm in the parish rooms.

NANCEGOLLAN VILLAGE HALL: The village show on May 12, was once again a resounding success, a wonderful array of entries for each category, with many people coming to view and take refreshments. Thanks go to Margaret Gash for all her hard work in again organising the show and to the committee and non committee members for all their hard work in setting up the event and helping on the day. Without these hard working people it would be impossible to stage this event. Thanks also to the judges for giving of their time to judge and support the show. Also to Mr Norman Pascoe for doing the honours - handing out the many trophies to each of the winners. Also sincere thanks go to all the people who entered exhibits for the show, as without their support Nancegollan Annual Village Show could not go ahead.
