On Wednesday, May 14 the monthly coffee morning was held at Pencare, Sithney, the home of Ron Mildren co hosted by Emmeline Simmons where £61 was raised for church funds.
Raffle winners were: Valerie Trueman, Peggy Mildren and Ruth Williams. Half-an-Half winners were Tony Evershed, Paul Schofield, and Kirsty Matthews.
On Sunday the sung eucharist was celebrated by the Rev John Palmer, lessons were read by Elizabeth Schofield and Ruth Williams. Trefor Bowen was the organist.
Christian Aid envelopes were returned.
On Sunday, Rogation Sunday, sung eucharist will be at 11.15am and at 6pm Bible readings and a hymn will be read at four locations around the Parish which will be followed by refreshments at Trevayne, the home of Pam and John Hall. A collection for the Perennial Gardens Royal Benevolent Society will be taken.
