Crete Pooley opened the meeting in Chynehale schoolroom. The walk around Coronation Lake was arranged to be followed by a lunch on May 20.
A vote was taken regarding the WI’s Resolution regarding organ donors which was “yes” and members were told that we should tell relatives that we had voted yes.
A quiz team was arranged to go to Porthleven on June 23 at 7.30pm. Yvonne then read last month's minutes which were agreed and signed.
We all enjoyed a concert of bell ringing Mullion Bell Ringers led by Ann Symons and Marion Ferris gave a vote of thanks.
Next month’s meeting will be on June 12 at 7pm and will be Work in Textiles by Jenny Ripley. Competition to be “a small novelty sewn article”. Vote of thanks by Jean.
