METHODIST CHURCH: The service on Sunday was conducted by Adrian Hendy from Mullion. His sermon was all about waiting. The anticipation of waiting for something is often too much to bear, but take courage, god’s blessing is really worth waiting for and his is waiting for us too. All the hymns were from Mission Praise, accompanied by Mavis Harper on the organ.
WOMEN’S INSTITUTE: The next meeting takes place in the Methodist schoolroom at 7.30pm on Thursday, June 12. The speaker will be Eileen Carter on herbalism – visitors are welcome.
