On Sunday, May 25, Rogation Sunday, after the Rogationtide ceremonies, a collection for the Perennial Gardeners’ Royal Benevolent Society was taken and £36 was raised for the society.
On Sunday the Bishop of St Germans licensed the Rev Dr Peter Johnson as priest-in-charge of the Benefice of Porthleven with Sithney. On Sunday there will be solemn eucharist at 11.15am . On Wednesday, June 11 from 3pm the Friends of St Sithney Church are holding a Cornish cream tea at Trevayne, the home of Pam and John Hall. All welcome.
