On Wednesday, June 11, The Friends of St Sithney Church held a Cornish Cream Tea in the garden at Trevayne, Sithney, the home of Pam and John Hall.
This was enjoyed by many people from the village in the beautiful weather. £235 was raised for The Friends. The first three winners from the large raffle were Mrs B Williams, John Hall and Mrs Y Williams.
On Sunday, Trinity Sunday, there was solemn eucharist celebrated by the Rev Judy Harris. Lessons were read by Esther Brown and Peggy MacGregor, with Trefor Bowen playing the organ.
Sunday’s service will be at 11.15am.
