On Friday the coffee morning at the home of Valerie Trueman raised £53.30 for church funds.
Raffle winners were Peggy Mildren, Ruth Williams and Emmeline Simmons. The Half -an-Half winners were Elizabeth Schofield, Joan Pawley and Lucy Matthews.
On Sunday, the fourth Sunday after Trinity and also Sea Sunday, there was a service of the word taken by reader Joy Gunter and lay worship leader Kim Dooley. Lessons were read by Andrew Woods and Ron Mildren. Andrew also played the organ. There was a retiring collection for the Mission to Seafarers.
On Sunday there will be sung eucharist at 11.15am.
