CROWAN CHURCH: The beautiful bells at St Crewenna Church welcomed the congregation on Sunday. The music for this week was played by Colin. Readers were Wendy and Peter. Peter also read the prayers of intersession. The lovely flowers were arranged by Tess.

Sunday was "Sea Sunday" when churches all over the world come together to remember seafarers and pray for them and their families. In Cornwall we know something of both the importance and dangers of the sea. The Mission to Seafarers works tirelessly to provide help and hope to seafarers in distress in 71 countries worldwide. The Mission is universally trusted to be of service for everyday problems and in maritime emergencies. We remember the Mission and the congregation gave thanks to God for their work.

The congregation signed a card and sent their best wishes to wish Sue Hickman and her family on their move to Devon. Next Sunday there will be tea and free trade coffee served in the parish rooms before the 11am service.

On Saturday there will be a concert by the Camborne Ladies Choir. The entry is £3 by programme and the evening begins at 7.30pm. Everyone is very welcome to come along.
