AUGUST LUNCH: The lunch due to be held on August 2 in the village hall has been cancelled. This is because people are still on holiday it has been impossible to get enough staff to cover the event. We promise to hold one in September!
OPEN GARDEN DAY: David and Sarah Chapman will be hosting an ‘Open Garden Day’ at their home at 41 Bosence Road, TR27 6AL on Sunday, August 10 from 11am to 4pm. Everyone is welcome and tea and cakes will be served all day. Please bring a picnic if you would like to eat lunch at the small holding.
David will be leading wildlife walks and you are very welcome to bring a camera although wildlife is not guaranteed to appear.
There will be pink flags on the house and there is plenty of parking so please drive in through the gate and onto the field.
Entry is by donation and all proceeds are for the head and neck cancer charity ‘Swallows’. Everyone is very welcome to come along and join us.
