CROWAN CHURCH: On Sunday the congregation welcomed the Rev Sharon Chalcroft to St Crewenna for the morning service at 11am. Gerald played the music this morning and the readers were Averil and Michelle. The prayers of intercession were read by Christine and the lovely flowers were arranged by Tess and Sarah.

The Alms and Trevenen Jenkin family sent a message to say how they are very grateful to the Rev Dom for coming to Coose Trannack, a Woodland Trust site behind Trannack School to bless a bench in memory of Elizabeth Alms, nee Trevenen, Isobel's mum, Loveday's aunt and Ann's sister. Elizabeth grew up in Redruth and came back to Cornwall every year to visit family and friends. This is a wonderful open site for all to visit, with a spectacular view over Porthleven, Goonhilly, Mounts Bay and as far as the Lizard in the distance. There are two other memorial seats there in this lovely spot.
