REMEMBRANCE DAY: On Sunday Townshend will be remembering the Centenary of WW1 and the subsequent conflicts in which our men and women served their country. Friends are invited to gather at the War Memorial in Townshend at 10.45am. There will be a simple ceremony and you are invited to lay your own tributes alongside the village wreath.
Afterwards tea, coffee, and biscuits will be served in the village hall, so do please come along and join us at this special occasion.
VILLAGE HALL: On Saturday the monthly lunch will be served - there is a wonderful winter menu and it is great value for money with a main course for £3.50 and delicious sweet at £1.50. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy.
PAT'S THANKS: Pat Williams would like to thank the Townshend villagers for their good wishes and for the lovely flowers and says, “Remember, I am only five minutes away and have settled in very happily and love my new home.”
