Canon Michael Porteus presided at the parish remembrance eucharist service assisted at the altar by Gwynneth Willett and Joan Chapman with the chalices and Bette Owen and Rita Russell serving. Trina Beckett led the service; the lessons were read by Anna Harry and Tony Greet; Andrew Bell compiled the intercessions; the organist was Jay Helmore; Joan Chapman was sacristan and the sidesmen were Geoff Helmore and Dennis Osbourn. Geoff Helmore led the Act of Remembrance.
A date has now been given for the licensing of the vicar of the new Benefice of West Kerrier – the Rev Dr Peter Johnson, on Friday, December 12.
A Christmas coffee morning will take place in church on Saturday, December 6 starting at 10am
