On Remembrance Sunday at Breaney Chapel the Sunday school held their own service.

Treve Benney was in the driving seat, guiding the projector and the big screen, others were either at St Breaca, or elsewhere.

The evening service was led by Sarah Fuller (guitar), Mary Louise Combellack (flute), Paul Benney (organ). The order of service commenced with a call to worship of Psalm 70, May all who seek you, rejoice and be Glad in you. The first song, Lord for the years, was sung then the opening prayer and the Lord’s Prayer were prayed. Next was a guitar and flute with Bind us together. A new Commandment was read. Let there be love and you are the Vine. The subject was guidance. Scripture readings were John chapter 15 v 9-17 and Peter Gordon took up the offering, Isaiah chapter 53 v 2-8.

Mike Trounson had searched the Bible and Hymns and Psalms and presented an interesting list of references all of which certainly could all be connected to guidance. Prayers for the needs of people, Let there be Love and the King of Love were the remaining hymns. The Blessing was read by Mike Trounson.

Sunday is the International Day of Prayer for persecuted Christians. The preacher planned is Sarah Fuller and after the service there will be a short meeting.
