On Friday the monthly coffee morning was held at Glendale Carleen, the home of Ruth and Barrie Williams.
Seventy two pounds was raised for church funds. The first three raffle winners were Emmeline Simmons, Eleanor Hunter and Elizabeth Schofield. The Half-an-Half winners were Eleanor Hunter, Yvonne Williams and Margaret Ward.
On Sunday, the second Sunday before Advent, the sung eucharist was celebrated by the Rev John Palmer. Lessons were read by Esther Brown and Ruth Williams and the organist was Trefor Bowen.
On Sunday, the Feast of Christ the King, there will be solemn eucharist at 11.15am.
