On Sunday, Holy Cross Day, there was morning prayer on Sunday from Common Worship taken by lay worship leaders Trina Beckett and Kim Dooley. Lessons were read by Andrew Woods and Ruth Williams. Andrew also played the organ. Friday is St Sithney’s Day and morning prayer will be at the later time of 10.30am followed by holy eucharist at 11.15am. Lunch will be at 12.30pm at the home of Peggy Mildren. Sunday is St Sithney’s Patronal Festival. There will be solemn patronal festival for both parishes at 10.30am followed by light refreshments.

On Sunday morning at Breaney Chapel, Susan Bennetts was our preacher. In Music Corner Paul Jenkin was organist with Sarah Fuller on guitar until the Sunday School went downstairs. The talk at the early part of the service was a time of testing 'What plant is this?' Actually it was a stinging nettle, asking 'Is it a plant or a weed?'; docks, and several other plants from the hedgerow and garden.
