The Rev Danny Reed led the worship and holy communion service on Sunday morning. Organist was Nigel Dower.
The Bible reading told the story of Jesus washing the feet of his disciples on the night of the last supper before his crucifixion. The sermon suggested that we should not necessarily wash feet, but we should do all we can to serve God while we have the time, as none of us knows what day might be our last on earth. What would you do if you knew you only had 24-hours to live? In the evening members of the congregation joined in the Circuit United Service at Porthleven for The Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen.
On Saturday in the Wesley Hall from 10am-2pm there will be a Fair Trade coffee morning followed by soup and roll lunches. Come and find some Christmas presents and help others less fortunate by your support.
