VILLAGE HALL: The Crumblies are appearing on Saturday with their own blend of Rock ‘n Roll from the 1950s and 60s. Doors open at 7.30pm and the music begins at 8pm until 11pm. Entrance cost is £3 on the door and there is ample free parking. Please bring your own drinks and nibbles.

The first bingo session of the year takes place on Friday January 24. Eyes down at 7.30pm - everyone is welcome.

METHODIST CHURCH: The service on Sunday at 11am, will be taken by Mr T Richardson. There will also be Junior Church at 11am in the Sunday schoolroom. At 4pm the congregation is invited to a Song of Praise service at Porthleven Methodist church.

On Monday at 2pm the House Fellowship group meets at the home of Sue Williams.

Sue and Jackie would like to thank everyone who gave their time to hand out mince pies on the Thursday before Christmas. The chapel have had some very positive feedback. Many thanks also to those who donated towards the cost of the pies, 180 pies were given away.

The church family send birthday greetings to Hilda Davey on her 90th birthday. Everyone is invited on Wednesday, January 29 to the social and fundraising meeting in the Sunday schoolroom. Please come along with ideas to share for this coming year for fundraising for church funds.

LEEDSTOWN SCHOOL: Aerobics classes start on Monday between 7pm and 8pm. Sessions are designed for all fitness levels, offering high and low exercise options at £5 per session or £20 for a five-week course. Please call or text to reserve your place on 07966 675 596. Also looking for participants for a gentle Pilates class to follow on between 8pm and 9pm.
