Members met at the monthly meeting on Monday at Culdrose Community Centre, Helston.
This first meeting of the New Year was very well attended, and it was a delight to note that two members of the group have recently celebrated their 90th birthdays! Jean Young of Helston was presented with a bouquet of narcissi by chairwoman Joan Kearsley MBE and congratulations and flowers were sent to Edna Bulpin who was unfortunately unable to attend the meeting.
The business of the meeting was followed by a very interesting talk given by one of the members, Heather Aston, following her recent visit to the Holy Land. All serving and ex Women of the Royal Naval Services are extremely welcome to come and join the group!
