Mrs Sylvia Richards led morning worship, Hilary Rose and Edna Angove read the lessons and Margaret Bilkey played the organ for the good solid chosen hymns.
Before the end of the service each member of the congregation was given a list of subjects they might like to pray about – bringing others to know Christ, any pressing decisions to be made, people facing illness, those grieving and other possible situations. There was a five minute time of silent prayer.
In the evening the Rev Danny Reed led the worship with the Rev Geoffrey Thorpe in the witness box.
