Parish communion on Trinity Sunday was celebrated by the Rev Peter Bradford, assisted by the Rev Dorothy Noakes and Betty Booker, lay reader.

Canon David Miller preached, taking into the understanding of three persons in one God, Father Son and Holy Spirit, some modern thinking of “the people of God” as a community of love, where all find forgiveness and fellowship. Greta Ross read the lesson and Gareth Howard led the prayers.

As the organ had suffered a mechanical failure, Richard Berry was obliged to accompany hymns and play voluntaries on the piano, but with all his usual expertise.

Junior Church does not report back these days, but is still in being and regularly welcoming new members.
