On a very hot morning, Susan Bennetts took the service on Sunday and the theme and the sermon concerned planting seeds and reaping.
Kevin Archbold, Tony Fairless and Tony Massey took part in a dramatic reading and Edna Angove read from the Bible. Margaret Bilkey played the organ.
We had a fairly small congregation, as quite a few of the congregation were attending the Circuit Away Weekend at Brunel Manor, Torquay.
In the evening, the service was led by Mrs E Balme.
