The members have been enjoying the summer weather holding their meetings outside. Their July meeting was held at Wyevale Garden Centre, Lelant where there was a buzz in the air when members explored all the old fashioned garden plants that the bees just love, lavender, roses, daisies, dianthus and geraniums. Members were drawn to the Bargain Bay corner and who could resist the three for two offer? The business part of the meeting dispatched very sociably with cake and tea. A very popular WI Meeting.

More scrumptious cake was on the menu for our social meeting at Porthleven where after a walk and sightseeing members retired to “Nauti but Ice” café for our welcome afternoon tea. The August meeting was held at St Just after visiting the Cape Cornwall Craft Exhibition. Members continue to be so impressed with the range of crafts and talent on display for this annual show, and made some fascinating purchases. Another delicious tea was enjoyed at “The Cookbook” tea-room concluding another very successful meeting.
