Morning Prayer last Sunday at St Mawgan in Meneage Parish Church, taken by the Revd Heather Aston, included the baptism of Dacey Jacques Townshend-Glover. Proud parents Libby and Des, together with godparents Kate Bradford, Jim Glover, Anne and Daryl Millward and Reg and Chris Cox together with over 50 family, friends, many children and the usual congregation welcomed Dacey into the Church. In her sermon, based on the Gospel reading, Revd Aston emphasised that Jesus was here for everybody and we should look outwards to all those in need. A baptism reminds us that we are all God's family and he loves and cares for us all The service next Sunday will be a Eucharist at 9.30 am celebrated by the Revd Heather Aston.
