Revd Peter Johnson presided at the Parish Eucharist service assisted at the altar by Diane Whitehead and Sue Rayment with the chalices and Rita Russell and Chris McCormack serving. The intercessions were led by Muriel Somerfield; Kate Phillips and Sue Rayment read the lessons; sidesmen were Rosie Shorthouse and Kate Phillips; Chris McCormack was sacristan and the organ was played by Gwynneth Willett.
The Benefice Fete will be held on Saturday, August 30 in Breage Church from 11am - 3pm. In addition to all the usual stalls, refreshments and fun activities the Godolphin Chapel will be the venue for an art exhibition by a visiting artist along with several floral art exhibits.
