Elizabeth Tremayne, one of the Circuit readers, led the service on Sunday morning, which was based on the story of the Wedding at Cana.
She gave a very clever demonstration of turning water into wine, much to everyone’s amusement, and the chosen hymns also reflected the theme. Elizabeth, Rex and Bethany Tremayne, and Kevin and Tamsin Archbold read a “Cana Rap”, and Neil Turner and Avis Richardson read from the Bible. The organ was played by Nigel Dower. The evening communion service was led by the Rev Beverly Turner.
On Saturday afternoon the monthly session of Messy Church was held, and much enjoyed by all who attended.
