Canon David Miller both presided and preached at First Sunday All-age Family Communion, with Betty Booker, lay reader, assisting; Maureen Grattan-Kane reading the lesson and Rebecca Greenough leading the prayers.
Canon David took the promise of Jesus that He would be there whenever two or three are gathered together in His name as defining how much human beings need to belong to a community, not least the church where the presence of Jesus, the cultivation of love, prayer, forgiveness and reconciliation propel members to take the good news to those outside.
