The service on Sunday morning was led by Janet Ings, from Coverack, the first time she had preached at our church.
She chose some lovely hymns, and her husband, Tony, played the organ. Tony Massey and Hilary Rose read the lessons, and Mrs Ings read a mediation on Barnabas. In her sermon Mrs Ings spoke of enthusiasm for things in our daily life which we joyfully shared with others, but wondered how often we enthused or talked to others in the same way about our love of Jesus. Food for thought – and not so easy to do.
The evening fellowship service was arranged by the chief Steward, Edna Angove, assisted by others in the congregation.
