The service on Sunday morning was led by Neil Didlick, and the organist was Joan Williams. Sally Blaber read the story about the three servants from St Matthews Gospel.
For his sermon, Mr Didlick spoke of the game of hide and seek which children love to play, and the saying “Coming, ready or not”. He said that no one knows when Jesus will return to earth, as the Bible clearly says He will and we must all be ready.
There was no evening service as members of the congregation travelled to St Austell for the anniversary of the signing of the Ecumenical Declaration of Intent.
