Mr Nigel Bishop lead the service at Cury Methodist Church on Sunday, his wife Dawn read the lesson.
The offering was collected by Chris Trounson and the accompanist was Sybil Benney. The flowers were given by Brenda.
Next Sunday at 11am the appointed preacher is Mrs S Richards. All welcome.
On Sunday, January 25 at 5pm in Cury Village Hall the Rev Steve Swann will be welcoming members from all the churches in the circuit to the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, all are welcome to attend.
St Corentyn's Church Cury Church are now holding a quiet space for prayers on Tuesday afternoons, starting at 3.30pm, with a cup of tea followed by prayers, do come and join us, all welcome.
Cury C of E School Johnny Cowling will be at Cury Village Hall on Wednesday, February 4 at 8pm. Tickets at £8.50 can be obtained from Cury School, 01326 240549. There will be refreshments available and a licensed bar and raffle. Proceeds for school funds.
Cury Women's Institute Our annual meeting will be held on Thursday, February 5 at 7.15pm in the village hall. We look forward to welcoming you.
