The St Aubyn Singers donated £1,000 to Children’s Hospice South West at the St Aubyns Arms in Praze-an-Beeble recently.
John Barraclough presented the cheque to Jane Curnow who thanked the singers for their latest donation and for their continuing support over the last ten years.
The singers thanked their hosts, Nick and Amy at the St Aubyns Arms, where they sing and practise most Thursday evenings. They perform at a variety of venues in west and mid Cornwall, for weddings, funerals and private functions.
Any money donated to the singers goes to local charities with no expenses claimed by individual members of the group.
