LUMC: The service at 11am on Sunday will be led by Donald Hearn. Junior Church will be visiting Little Trefewha at Praze. There will be no service at 6pm at Leedstown Chapel as there is a Circuit United Service at Breaney. At 3pm there will be a Penticost service at Gwennap Pit, the preacher is the Rev Leo Osborne, President of Conferance.

On Friday June 1 there will be a concert by New Cornwall Opera at a cost of £4 and on Sunday June 3 at 7.30pm a concert by Marazion Apollo Male Voice Choir, also £4 per ticket.

GCG HOSPICE SUPPORT GROUP: By kind permission of Ray Downs there will be an open garden event at Larkrise, 4 Ruth Dower, Godolphin Cross on Thursday May 24 from 10.30am until 12.30pm. There will also be a bring-and-buy stall and a raffle to enjoy and lots of tea and cake on offer. Please come along to enjoy this lovely garden and support this worthy charity. Entry will be by donation and all are welcome.

GARAGE AND TABLETOP SALE: The sale will be held at Mount View, Chapel Road, Leedstown, the home of Rita and Donald Baines, from 10am until 2pm on Saturday. The proceeds are to be split between Leedstown Christmas Lights and Leedstown Chapel. If you wish to hire a stall please contact Mr or Mrs Baines. The cost is £5 for each stall. There will be a cake , Christmas lights stalls and lots more. All welcome.

VILLAGE HALL: Friday is the date for a fun Bingo evening - Eyes down at 7.30 pm.

DUKE OF LEEDS: The darts tournament is being held on Friday night - Come along and join in or just watch the fun.

JUBILEE EVENTS: To celebrate the Jubilee the school is holding a community event on May 29 from 2pm. All are welcome to join in with a traditional English high tea, music and traditional games, there will also be the planting of the school's Royal Oak. Children will be presented with Jubilee mugs which will be printed with their own unique designs, funded by the Friends of the School and Crowan Parish Council.

Leedstown Football Club are holding their event on Sunday, June 3 from 10am until 4pm on the playing field and village hall. There will be a car boot sale, visits from St Erth Brass Band and a rock band called Lost Soul District. A fire engine is also coming along from Camborne Fire Station for everyone to admire.
