BALWEST METHODIST CHURCH: On Sunday, September 22, morning worship was shared by Bob Markley of St Keverne and the Rev John Hibberd, one of the leaders of the Walk Cornwall 2 Mission. Guest accompanist was Ken Jones of Camborne, flowers were given and arranged by Kate Boston.
After the service members of the congregation were joined by the minister, the Rev Beverly Turner. The mission speaker who had attended worship at Kenneggy Methodist Church and some members of their congregation also came along and all sat down for a lovely lunch prepared and served by members.
On Sunday morning worship was led by the minister, the Rev Beverly Turner, whose theme was faith. Accompanist was Jill Warden.
On Sunday harvest thanksgiving will be celebrated when Rachel Carbis will lead the service. After the service there will be a lunch in the Sunday schoolroom.
On Monday there will be a mini quiz in the schoolroom starting at 7pm. Teams of four welcome. Following the quiz the sale of produce will be held.
ASHTON CHURCH: There will be a Book of Common Prayer service of holy communion on Friday at 9.30am.
