BALWEST METHODIST CHURCH: On a mild, sunny morning on Sunday, a large congregation assembled at the Germoe Parish War Memorial on Tregonning Hill for a short service of remembrance, led by the Rev Beverley Turner.
The Last Post, Reveille and National Anthem were played by Gillian Allen, who also accompanied the hymn singing.
The list of those to be remembered was read by Mr Dennis Oram, as each name was read out a cross was placed at the memorial.
The Lesson was read by Jeremy Boston and the service concluded in the chapel.
ASHTON CHURCH: The third study and discussion group meeting will be held on Monday, November 18 at 7pm.
