BALWEST METHODIST CHURCH: Morning worship on Sunday was a reader’s service prepared by the Rev John Horner and presented by Hazel Hockin of Goldsithney. The accompanist was Jill Warden, who also arranged the flowers.
On Saturday the paper bank will be back and the Christmas coffee morning will take place in the schoolroom.
ASHTON CHURCH: On Friday there will be a service of holy communion at 9.30am. Evensong will be held at 4pm on Sunday. The annual community carol singing will be on Friday, December 20 at 7.30pm and the last of the four study group meetings will be at 7pm on Monday, December 16.
