BALWEST METHODIST CHURCH: The morning service on Sunday was prepared by the Rev John Horner and presented by Jackie Allan of St Keverne. Flowers were given and arranged by Ann Jeffery. Jill Warden was accompanist and the offertory was taken by Joel Boston.
ASHTON CHURCH: There will be a course entitled Faith Matters starting on Monday from 7-9pm. The course will last for six weeks and will be looking at the Lord’s Prayer and exploring what its words mean and how it can help our faith today. For more information contact Father Peter on 01736 763407. On Friday, the feast of the conversion of St Paul, there will be a service of holy communion at 9.30am.
