The eucharist service on Mothering Sunday was celebrated by the Rector, the Rev Lesley Walker, who started by thanking everyone concerned for the very successful coffee morning the previous day.
In her sermon she asked us to think beyond mothers in the obvious sense and remember all those who have ‘mothered’ us and contributed to who we are. We are all part of the mutual support of the family of Mother Church. The lessons were read by Wendy Bailey and the Rector.
The service on Sunday at 11.15am will be a family service.
