Little Acorns has been up and running since January in St Keverne church hall, Lemon Street and the children have enjoyed a variety of fun and activities over the months.

As well as the general play equipment, the toddler gym, garage, wendy house, train set, the ride on toys and table activities such as playdough and lots more. We have had a craft activity each week and this has varied from cards for mother's and father's day, pasta pictures, sock puppet making and great fun making hand prints on a sheet to cover a table to name but a few.

When the sun shone we moved out doors to the rear of the hall where mums enjoyed sitting under the umbrellas having their coffee while watching their children play in the sandpit or on the outdoor climbing frame. On one occasion we managed to get the paddling pool out! We also had an outing to Roskilly for ice cream.

We have been lucky enough to have had the Toy Library with us once a month and they have done some messy play and will be back again in the Autumn.

Little Acorns stopped for the summer holidays and we need to say a big thank you to all the adults who have helped with setting up the hall, making the refreshments and running the afternoons and to the families who come along to enjoy themselves but we are back now on Mondays at the slightly later time of 1.30-3pm for children from 0-5 years, so parents/carers come and have a chat and a drink while your little ones have fun and play.
