Ten thousand voices seemed to cry “God made us all and God is good. It certainly seemed like that on Sunday.

Local Christians from Ruan and The Lizard filled the chapel to hear the Rev Canon Steve Wild, who took the service at their Harvest Festival. His kind, passionate and amusing service filled everyone with hope and God’s love.

Some of the children in attendance, Harold, Percy, Dora, Poppy, Kerenza and Izzy thoroughly enjoyed helping him by working the famous puppet family of frogs to illustrate how loved we all are.

It was a service for all ages and enjoyed by everyone. Barry Sherlock, the organist, enthusiastically played the organ to the rousing singing of favourite harvest hymns. The offering was collected by Jimmy Johns and Izzy Thomas.

Delicious homemade pasties straight from the over were devoured at the fellowship lunch after the service.
