BALWEST METHODIST CHURCH: Morning worship on Sunday was led by Christine Bridgewater of Mullion who spoke on jealousy and forgiveness. The guest accompanist was Ken Jones of Camborne. Joining the congregation were friends from Maryport in Cumbria, who were staying in the area.
After the service and enjoyable roast lunch was served in the schoolroom.
On Saturday, November 29 a Christmas fayre will be held in the schoolroom from 11am to 2pm. Father Christmas will be in attendance and there will be the usual stalls as well as seasonal refreshments. All are welcome.
ASHTON CHURCH: Evensong on Sunday was conducted by the Rev Len Jepp. Lessons were read by Malcolm Hersee and Bevan Osborne, organist was Margaret Goldsworthy and sidesman was Malcolm.
