METHODIST CHURCH: Andrew Besley was the Preacher on Sunday. The Offering was collected by Christopher Trounson, accompanist was Sybil Benney and flowers were provided by Ann Gendall.
On Sunday we will be meeting at the home of Freda Lane for our fellowship service at 11am.
VILLAGE HALL: On Saturday there is a Cornish quiz night organised by Jadine Hocking commencing at 7pm. Any size teams £2 per person. The quiz is to raise funds for Jadine’s Year in Thailand, volunteering with Project Trust.
Cash Bingo on Thursday, May 23, eyes down at 7.30pm. A night not to be missed is the annual Bank Holiday barbecue starting at 7pm on Sunday, May 26 when the Cornish Wurzells supported by Nightchasers Disco will be entertaining us. On Friday, May 31 at 7.30pm a fundraising talk by Jessica Hirons entitled Our Cornish Seals and their Conservation. Free Entry but a donation for the Grey Seal Conservation appreciated.
