Myths and legends of Cornish churches was the theme of the talk given by Priscilla Oates at the June meeting.
Priscilla Oates, who is chairman of the Old Cornish Society, illustrated her talk with slides of interesting interior and exterior features of the churches.
During the meeting members discussed the problem of easy access to child pornography on the internet. They unanimously agreed that the government should take positive action to prevent the images being shown.
Mullion WI will be celebrating its 90th birthday on July 12 with a lunch at the Mullion Cove Hotel and president Ann Symons reminded members that they should all wear flowery summer hats for the occasion.
