METHODIST CHURCH: The readers service on Sunday was led by Mr P Galassini taking as his theme Blessed Be the Peacemakers. The readings were read by Mrs Galassini and the offering collected by Jose Trounson. Flowers were provided by Freda Lane. The appointed preacher on Sunday at 11am for holy communion is the Rev Danny Reed - all welcome.

Our Cream Tea Event for St Julia’s Hospice Care is at the chapel on Thursday, July 11 from 2pm–5pm. Donations of items for the numbers board and the stalls would be most welcome.

VILLAGE HALL: On Thursday the monthly Whist Drive will commence at 7.30pm - entry £1, refreshments and raffle. Thursday, June 27, eyes down at 7.30pm for cash prize bingo - refreshments, licensed bar and raffle.

WOMEN’S INSTITUTE: The speaker for our meeting on Thursday, July 4 at 7.15pm is Dot Spragg talking about the Blind Association. All welcome to attend.
