METHODIST CHURCH: Mr A Nicholas led the morning service on Sunday. The Offering was taken up by Christopher Trounson, accompanist was Sybil Benney and flowers were provided by Leonora Curnow. On Sunday at 11am Shirley Wearne will take the family service. The Junior Church Anniversary will be held on July 21 with Mike Trounson. There will be no family service in August.
On Thursday it is the chapel’s turn to host the Coffee Morning at the village hall from 9am–11am.
Our Cream Tea event will be held on Thursday, July 11 from 2pm–5pm in the chapel. All donations for the stalls would be most welcome. Please come and support this very worthy cause for St Julia’s Hospice Care.
WOMEN’S INSTITUTE: On Thursday at 7.15pm our speaker will be Dot Spragg talking about the Blind Association. New members always welcome.
VILLAGE HALL: A very enjoyable evening of Cash Prize Bingo was held on Thursday with Phil Greet the caller. The next Prize Bingo will be on Thursday, July 25 at 7.30pm. To book the hall please ring Jeanette Dodd on 01326240045
