METHODIST CHURCH: On Sunday members of the church visited the home of Freda Lane for their fellowship service. Readings were read by Marian, Lyn and Sybil.
On Sunday at 11am members will be visiting Mullion for the united service.
VILLAGE HALL: The monthly whist drive will be held on Thursday at 7.30pm. MC is Ian James. On Saturday we will be holding our annual village hall race night. Doors open 7pm. Contact Jeanette Dodd on 01326 240045 to become a horse owner on the evening for £2 or call in at any coffee morning on a Thursday morning.
There will be cash bingo on October 24 at 7.30pm. On October 31, 7pm–9pm there is a Monsters and Ghouls family disco with a fancy dress competition.
The grand Christmas draw squares are on sale now and will be drawn on December 1.
CHURCH: The annual holly fair for the bells project will be held at the village hall on November 2, 2pm–4pm.
